The Town of Delhi Clerk’s office would like to remind residents of the Town and Village of Delhi that Article 7 of the New York State Agriculture and Market Law requires that all dogs older than 4 months be licensed. DELAWARE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES
Bat tests positive for rabies in Delhi:
A bat tested positive for rabies in the Town of Delhi. This is the third animal in Delaware County to test positive for rabies in 2026. One person was exposed to the rabies virus and is being treated for rabies post exposure prophylaxis. No animals were exposed.
